These paints are artist quality but very affordable for beginners and it’s a good place to start. The colours are pigmented and vivid, which will make your beginner journey smoother and more enjoyable.
This is my go-to sketching pencil because the pencil is uniquely weighed to ensure balance on your hand, without tiring your out for long hours of sketching.

This is one of my favourite papers to use because the colours are super vibrant and I love the beautiful deckled edges.
These pens are archival quality and I love them for line work after watercolour washes.
Princeton Heritage Series 4050 Set
I love Princeton brushes for their snap and super sharp points and I use them almost exclusively for all my painting work.
The Complete Watercolourist’s Essential Notebook
This is a super comprehensive and handy guide book that has everything you need to learn about watercolour painting.
Pilot Kakuno Fine-Nib Fountain Pen
The Pilot Kakuno fountain pen is an affordable option for someone looking to enter the fountain pen scene or just someone who loves writing daily with a fountain pen. It comes with ink refills in a variety of colours which is perfect for journaling.
Dot charts are a good way to test out colours from a brand before committing to it and if used properly, dot charts actually have a good amount of paint that can go a long way especially if you only need small amounts of a certain colour.
These are my favourite brush pens for lettering, the tip is semi flexible and more firm, which offers more control over the lettering process.
This canvas pouch comes in three sizes and the largest fits my iPad Pro, which is handy dandy when I bring my iPad out.
