Quiet Portraits, Painted with Care

These faceless watercolour portraits are created for people who love subtlety.

They are small, intimate pieces — meant to live quietly on a work desk, a console, or a shelf you pass every day. Not to command attention, but to keep a memory close.

Each portrait is hand-painted in my signature style, focusing on posture, colour, and the feeling of a moment — rather than facial detail.

This is art for quiet spaces and gentle hearts.

*If you’re looking for large statement artwork, highly detailed realism,
or extensive customisation, this offering may not be the right fit — and that’s okay.

Why This Portrait Exists

By removing facial features, the portrait becomes less about exact likeness and more about presence.

A familiar outfit.
A shared posture.
The way people naturally stand together.

These details often hold more emotion than a face ever could.

The result is a portrait that feels timeless — something you can live with quietly, rather than a snapshot frozen in time.

Details

All portraits are created exclusively in A6 (10 × 15 cm) and painted on 100% cotton, 300gsm premium watercolour paper.

This size is chosen intentionally.

A6 invites closeness. It encourages you to lean in. It belongs naturally in everyday spaces — on a desk, a shelf, or a console — rather than as wall décor.

Not everything meaningful needs to be large.

At the moment, I do not offer larger sizes or alternative formats for portraits.

What’s Included

Each portrait includes:

Good reference photos help me do my best work.

Outfit details matter more than facial features, as they play a key role in the final composition. I recommend clothing with patterns or pop of colours.

FAQs

How many people can be included?

Each portrait can include up to 4 people.

Can I request a different size or style?

Portraits are offered exclusively in A6 size and in my signature faceless watercolour style. I’m unable to accommodate alternative sizes or styles.

Can I make changes once the painting has started?

Due to the nature of watercolour, major revisions are not possible once painting begins. Please ensure all details are confirmed before submission.

Will I see a preview before completion?

Previews are not provided. Each portrait is created as a complete piece based on the reference and details you submit.

Is this meant to be a realistic portrait?

These portraits are interpretive rather than realistic. They focus on mood, posture, and composition rather than precise facial likeness.

I don’t have a photo of everyone together. Is that okay?

Yes, that’s perfectly fine. You may send individual photos, and I will thoughtfully combine them into a single composition.

To ensure the best result, please provide photos taken in similar lighting where possible, with a clear view of outfits and proportions.

I’m not sure if my photos are suitable. Can I check before ordering?

If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to email your photo(s) for a quick suitability check before placing your order. This is simply to confirm whether the images will work well for my style and process.

Is this a suitable gift?

Yes — these portraits are often chosen as meaningful gifts for weddings, proposals, anniversaries, and families who appreciate subtle, thoughtful art.
